The devices are credit/debit cards only and must be payWave compatible.

What would be the installation cost per machine - can any electrician install these?

The initial installation of Nayax machines requires the expertise of Electric Laundry Repair (ELR). Once ELR has completed the installation and set up, any subsequent repairs can be performed by your local electrician. In the event of repairs conducted by your electrician, ELR will actively participate in the process, providing remote support as needed. Following the repairs, ELR will conduct a thorough background check on the machine to ensure its proper functionality.

Are these connected to the EFTPOS networks or does it run on its own network?

All customers open a merchant account with Nayax, there’s no connection with Eftpos or any other banks. Simply Nayax pay’s each customer 2 days in arears once all transaction fees/refunds etc have been completed.

How long does it take to set up and get going?

Approximately a month from when the quote being accepted and deposit being made. This is due to ordering the machines and installation of the machines, etc.

Is there a Declined Fee?

The decline fee is when a transaction has been processed by the machine and by the merchant acquirer and then the end customer’s bank declined the transaction.

Usually this is due to insufficient funds in their account, card reported lost/stolen etc.

Transaction Fee (excluding GST):

  • Credit Transaction Fee: $0.15 + 0.85%
  • Debit Transaction Fee: $0.15 + 0.85%
