Shipping policy

We make every effort to keep our Shipping Charges as low as possible.

For the majority of our replacement parts the Shipping Cost will start from $1.95 to any Commercial* address within New Zealand.  If you would like your order to be shipped to either a Residential* or Rural Delivery* address within New Zealand, you can select either of these options at checkout.

*Commercial - These addresses are those typically zoned as commercial real estate.

*Residential - Where people live on the premises, or the premises is zoned as residential.

*Rural Delivery - An address that has Rural Delivery or RD in it, or is outside of a particular delivery area.

Kindly allow up to 3 days for the processing of your order. Following order processing, please anticipate an additional 3-4 days for delivery. It's important to note that once the courier has taken possession of the parcel, any delays or unforeseen circumstances are beyond the control of Electric Laundry Repair. We appreciate your understanding and patience in ensuring a smooth delivery process.

If you are unsure which category your address falls into. Please use our freight carrier's 
Address Checker before you finalise your order to avoid any delays in your order being dispatched.

If you have selected the incorrect shipping option during the check out process, and subsequently completed your order, we will contact you for the remaining balance prior to your order being processed and dispatched. 

Shipping cost are set by counting, size and weight on most products. We will calculate or recalculate shipping costs manually on orders received for multiple items, or where the incorrect shipping has been selected inadvertently at check out, or on items where there are no shipping options.

Once your order has been received and a new shipping cost calculated (if applicable), we will notify you of this and request additional payment to proceed with your order.  If the new shipping calculation is less than the original, we will provide you with a refund.

If you decide not to pay the shipping cost or difference of, we will cancel your order and refund you less any bank charges/fees or administration costs.

You may also be liable for any redelivery charges if delivery attempt has failed due to no one being home to accept delivery, or it was unsafe for the delivery to take place.

Any requests to leave your order unattended if no one is available to accept delivery is to be made directly to the freight carrier once you have received your ready for dispatch notification. 

You may choose to collect your order direct from our warehouse in which case you must pick your order up within 14 days of receiving notification that it is ready for collection. In the event that you do not collect your order within the 14 days of notification, we will consider it to be cancelled and any refunds will be subject to our refunds policy.

Failure to pay any additional fees and or charges may result in the termination of any goods and services that Electric Laundry Repair (1988) Limited provide to you until such time as the outstanding charges have been settled.

We use third party providers for shipping. Any refunds or exchanges based on an item being damaged or lost in transit are subject to each third party’s terms and conditions.
