Electric Laundry Repair (ELR) is the leading Electrical company specialising in the sale, service and repair of commercial laundry equipment. Being based in Hamilton, but servicing the greater Waikato region, our work ranges from servicing equipment at a small on-premises laundry, to a complete fit-out and installation of a laundromat. We are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that other companies can’t or won’t. We are recruiting a qualified electrician to join our team for 40 hours a week. This person will be a master problem solver who has the relevant electrical qualification and be mechanically minded. Working in a wide range of locations, jobs need to be completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner. You may currently be working for another Electrician or related Trade Business and be looking for a new challenge.
Wherever you currently are, these are the general tasks you will be required to complete:
- Solve problems and diagnose equipment issues using critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Work as part of a team to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide excellent customer service, understanding the customers’ needs and adjusting plans as required.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and new equipment.
Must-have skills:
- Be a New Zealand qualified and registered electrician.
- Hold a current EWRB practising license.
- Have a clean full NZ driver’s license.
- A great attitude combined with a practical mindset – you can think outside the box.
- Be able to work unsupervised.
- Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is completed to the highest of standards.
- Great people skills, both with teammates and customer.
